i have a 1990 nissan maxima which has a whole lot of problems. the cruise control, shifter lock doesnt engage,

radio and clock reset everytime i turn the car off then back on, and the speedometer works when it wants to. is there a fuse or relay that might have set off all these problems? please help

I would start looking at fuses. the radio and clock both need a constant voltage to retain memory when the car is off. There is got to be a fuse on this memory circuit. You will more than likley find it in the interior fuse box. As far as the cruise and shift lock not working, they may be related to this circuit and affected by the fuse. Sometimes many systems can be tied in on way or another by a simple fused circuit.
