Road Tire
What is a good road tire for my mtb that will also work for the occasional trail?

I’m bringing the ’94 Gary Fisher Tasajarra out of retirement for the bike segment of an upcoming race. The tires I have on now have some serious tread so I need to change them out. 6’5″ 230lbs and I’m looking for all of the help I can get against my much lighter friends. Can anybody provide me with some specifics?
