Post Mount
Post Mount
How do I mount my front end to my frame? The post in the front end, is WAY smaller then the neck opening.?
I just purchased a front end (ebay item 330022488788) from someone, and bought a frame also from him. It’s supposed to link right up but I’m not sure how to mount the front end. I’m sure it need bearings in the top and bottom? Is that it? Am I missing something, or should this mount right up? Detailed help, is appreciated.
Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. All steering stems need bearings. The guy you bought the parts from probably had them removed. This site might not have your bike. Look up 2000 Honda CB250 Steering Stem to get an idea of what they look like. Your frame should have a bearing “race” (#2) pressed into the top and bottom. They’re smooth and chrome colored.

When Buying Your Shiny New Wall Mounted Mailbox Read These Tips First
If you need to buy a wall mounted mailbox then make certain that the one you buy is going to last for years to come and offer fantastic security and privacy for your very important documents.
It’s all nice getting one that looks ok, be it ultra contemporary, sleek, Silver or architectural, but at the end from the day if a criminal can access the storage section then it seriously is not worth any more than scrap metal.
You want and demand peace of mind so make certain that your wall mounted mailbox is secure as well as nice to look at.
Secondly, make certain that the mailbox you buy is in fact suitable for your needs. What I mean is you might want to make certain its big enough. When you usually receive oversized mail items or massive quantities of mail then a small slot and a tiny interior space genuinely isn’t going to meet your needs.
Next, you need to take into account what mailbox is essentially going to fit in with the surroundings. When you live in a country cottage then an ultra modern shiny mailbox may look out of sorts whereas a nice traditional mailbox will be even more suited.
Of course there is no direct need to follow any hard and quick rules and what pleases one person may not please another. It is doable to shield mailboxes with shrubbery, archways or small trees to lessen the impact.
Prying hands can be kept at bay with small narrow mail openings.
The variety on offer these days is really substantial, so make certain you take your time when getting your mailbox, as it’s not a investment in you are likely to make on a regular basis.
Typical costs for secure mailboxes range from less than $100 to more than $400, so choose wisely, and don’t go getting the first one that appeals to you. Try to pick 3 or 4 and then review each and every one on it’s very own merits prior to committing to making a purchase.
