I’m after a comfy saddle for Iong distance cycling. Maybe the SMP4Bike Pro that Mark Beaumont is using is OK?
I’ve been looking for a Bicycle Saddle that will be comfortable, especially on long rides. I read the book about Mark Beaumont’s round the world record ride and saw the bbc blog about his trip from Anchorage, Alaska to Ushuaia in Southern Argentina (bbc.co.uk/blogs/cyclingtheamericas) and am pretty sure he rides the SMP4Bike Pro (smpsaddle.co.uk/index.php/smp4bike-pro.html)
My thoughts are that if its good enough for him, it ought to do for me too. But, before I go and drop £169 on a saddle, I am seeking more input from other long distance cyclists. Have you used one? Was it comfortable.
