Coil Shock
Coil Shock
What is the difference between shocks and springs on the kits?
I want to buy a reel-kit that will fall on my car 3inch, which is what I want, shocks but are included in a coil-over kit or you have to buy separate crisis? if so, do any of you know where I can get good hits for a decent price good? Away I can feel almost every bump in the road … oh yes and "Fuzion" a good brand for shocks?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
A coil-over is a single unit of a spring and shock. The spring on kit allows you to adjust ride height, which is good for if you ever decided that three inches too (or not enough). I had Apex'i World Sport coil-overs in my car for about eight years and never had a problem with them and the trip is pretty nice. The trip is a bit stiffer than stock, but is rather a sporty ride. With some low profile tires, the car manages large. Coil-over kits can be quite expensive, but I'm glad I went with them. I've never heard of Fuzion shock or suspension system. Probably you can join a message board to share the same interests and have the same make or model as your car, it would be hard not to find a bulletin board for brand (like Honda or Lexus). I have been out of the tuning scene for awhile, so do not know any of the new businesses there. Here are some brands I know: Apex'i, Skunk (now Skunk2), Tein, Tokico, Eibach and Neuspeed. I'm sure there are a few more, but that's all I can remember right now. Good luck!
