what derailleur, cassette and chain combo should i use and is compatible with a Shimano Deore XT Rear Hub?

Pretty much all cassettes, deraileurs, and chains are compatible. However, you need to make sure to get these items also compatible with your shifters. You can’t use 8-Speed Shifters with 9-speed cassettes, etc.
