How fast is a Aprilia Rs50 with a 70cc big bore kit on it?

does it give the bike much more torque? whats the top speed?are they hard to fit or do you just have to change cylinder, cylinder head, and piston? do you have to change the gearing or crankshaft, ect.? thanks

you will get better midrange to top end power.
Top speed should go up to about 70-80mph, tops, if it was a good engine to start with. (But don’t froget to run it in, )
Change cylinder, piston and rings, cylinder head – you;ll need gaskets for it too, to seal it all up, but yeah, you got the basic idea.

No change to gearing or crank, as 70cc is not a lot different , stroke wise. You will need to re-set the carbeurettor though. Maybe a bigger needle / rejet.

You should notify DVLA that it’s big bored up too, get reg document adjusted and you shouldn’t be allowed to ride it age under 17. But who cares, right?

It wouldn’t hurt to put braided lines on your brakes to tweak them, but that’s another £50 or so on top.
