Fabric Handle Bar wrap pattern?

i bought some thick plastic fabric for my Bike Road Bike Seat, but i also want to cover my drop handlebars with it.

is there a pattern to cut it out so it doesnt look bad?

and are there any ideas that would complement this idea?

maybe some sites that give step by step directions?

or do you have the steps?

You will probably want to cut the fabric in strips like Handlebar Tape.
